Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how FelixTheBot ("Felix", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the FelixTheBot Discord bot and the FelixTheBot Dashboard (the "Services").

Information we collect

• Discord account data (Dashboard login): when you log in with Discord OAuth, we receive your Discord user ID, username, avatar, and the list of guilds Discord provides to the Dashboard for selection and access control.
• Server configuration data: settings you save in the Dashboard (e.g., module toggles, channel selections, schedules, reminders, QotW question bank, etc.).
• Usage and activity metrics (optional modules): if enabled, we store aggregated counts such as messages per day, reactions per day, voice activity minutes, thread counts, and QotW participation statistics. We store totals and per-channel aggregates; we do not attempt to track "who viewed" a text channel.
• TDL data (private feature): if you are allowlisted for TDL, we store your daily task lists and completion state.
• Google Tasks integration (optional): if you connect Google for TDL export/import, we store OAuth tokens needed to access Google Tasks on your behalf.

How we use information

• To authenticate you and show only the servers and pages you are allowed to manage.
• To save and apply server settings you configure.
• To generate and display Insights charts and summaries, where enabled.
• To run schedules and automations you enable (e.g., QotW posting).
• To export/import TDL tasks to/from Google Tasks when you request it.

Where data is stored

Server settings and metrics are stored on the bot's hosting environment (for example, within the bot's data directory). Google OAuth tokens (if connected) are stored server-side so we can perform the Google Tasks export/import you request.

Sharing

We do not sell your data. We only share information with third parties when necessary to provide the Services: Discord (for authentication and bot operation) and Google (only if you connect Google Tasks).

Retention

We retain server configuration data for as long as the bot is installed in a server or until removed. Aggregated Insights data is retained to provide historical charts. You may request deletion of TDL data and/or disconnect Google Tasks at any time.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect stored configuration data and OAuth tokens. No system is perfectly secure. Please keep your Discord and Google accounts secure.

Your choices

• You can choose which modules to enable and which metrics to collect by enabling/disabling those sections.
• You can disconnect Google Tasks at any time from the TDL page.
• You can remove the bot from your server to stop future processing.

Agreement

By using FelixTheBot and the FelixTheBot Dashboard (the "Services"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

Eligibility and access

• You must comply with Discord's Terms and Community Guidelines while using the Services.
• Dashboard access is provided via Discord OAuth and may be limited to server administrators.
• Some features (e.g., TDL) may be restricted to specific Discord user IDs.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the Services to violate any law, Discord rules, or to harass, abuse, or harm others.
• Do not attempt to bypass access controls, scrape private data, or disrupt the Services.
• You are responsible for content you post through the bot (messages, embeds, scheduled posts, etc.).

Third-party services

The Services integrate with Discord and may optionally integrate with Google Tasks. Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies.

Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We strive to keep the Services available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. You use the Services at your own risk.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Services.

Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time by removing the bot from your server and/or logging out of the Dashboard. We may suspend access if we believe these Terms are violated.
